Survey: Internet access a top priority for hotel guests

As many as 47% of travelers make sure a hotel caters to their technological needs before booking a room, and a third of travelers use a hotel's Web site as their top source for assessing the property, according to a new survey. Experts say the findings underscore the competitive disadvantage hotels place themselves in if they charge guests extra for Internet access or don't have a stellar Web site.
