Double dip could come for U.S. house prices

Housing prices in the U.S. might slip into the second part of a double-dip downturn, experts said. Data from the National Association of Realtors indicate that the housing rebound is losing steam, while CoreLogic, a real estate analytics firm, forecast that prices will be 4.2% lower by February. Economists said the next downturn is likely to be less severe.
