FTC extends its review of Google's bid to buy AdMob

The FTC will to take up to two more weeks to complete the review of the $750 million deal for Google to acquire the mobile ad company. The FTC, which could announce its position on the deal by Friday, requested the extra time to better assess the impact of Apple's acquisition of AdMob competitor Quattro Wireless and Apple's launch of its iAds mobile ad system.
