Gluten-free products hit the mainstream

Sales of gluten-free products grew 74% between 2004 and 2009, and are expected to increase 15% to 25% a year, according to Nielsen. The market for products made without gluten is growing as more people are diagnosed with celiac disease and as gluten-free foods gain a reputation for being healthful.
