Home sales surged ahead of tax-credit deadline

Realtors across the country saw a jump in home sales ahead of the expiration of a federal tax credit last week. Sales jumped more than 50% in some regions, although not everyone was impressed by the size of the bump. "You would have thought we'd see more folks get in under that wire," says one Georgia Realtor.
