NCA applauds efforts to reduce childhood obesity and U.S. confectioners have been in the forefront of efforts to educate consumers through nutrition labeling. Candy companies also have voluntarily put in place responsible marketing policies where children are concerned. We do believe that candy and chocolate are little pleasures in life, to be consumed in moderation, as part of an active lifestyle.
