Analysis: U.K. game startups are riding the digital wave

Almost four-fifths of the game studios in the U.K. are producing titles for digital downloads, Kathy Gordon writes. Richard Wilson of The Independent Games Developers Association says there has been "an explosion of small startup companies" since 2011 in the U.K., when many of the big game publishers were shutting down their local operations creating console-based games.
