Official: U.S. could need more time to rule on Keystone XL

A ruling on TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline won't likely be given until late this year, as Obama administration officials continue to assess the energy security and environmental impacts of the project, a U.S. official said. "The president has to be able to show that the administration looked under every stone to ensure it knew as much as it possibly could about the impact of Keystone," the official said.
