Ohio city will lay off 201 workers to close $35M deficit

The Cincinnati City Council will consider a budget proposal that includes cuts that close a $35 million budget deficit and lays off 143 fewer workers than originally thought. More than 300 members of the city's police and fire departments were expected to be laid off, but the number will actually be 201.
