Ryanair CEO eyes dominance in Europe's short-haul sector

Ryanair's Chief Executive Officer Michael O'Leary says he will be staying on in his role for at least the next five years. He plans to capitalize on the inability of flag carriers such as Air France and Lufthansa to succeed in the short-haul flight sector. "There's going to be a push for the legacy carriers to walk away from the loss-making, short-haul business, handing over more and more market share. The rate of change is going to speed up. The next five years look very interesting and exciting and therefore there is no reason for me to leave."
