U.S. Senator checks in with students via Skype

U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu shared her thoughts on government service and her role in Congress recently via Skype as part of a civics project by fifth-graders at J.S. Clark Leadership Academy. "It's just a great thing because most children learn about civics and politics, but it's not often they get a chance to interact with their elected officials," said Terrence Lockett, state education liaison for Landrieu's office.
