Vermont moves forward on GMO labels

Lawmakers in Vermont are a step closer to approving a bill that would require food with genetically modified ingredients sold in the state to be labeled with that information. But lawyer Rebecca Cross said a First Amendment challenge would be difficult to fend off because there is no proof that genetic modification causes harm, she said.
