Airbus A350 XWB undergoes water ingestion testing in France

Airbus has finished water ingestion testing for its A350 XWB at a facility in France. Airbus said testing of its fourth test aircraft, the MSN 4, "validates how the aircraft would behave on a very rain-soaked runway, and verifies that neither the water under the aircraft nor the spray generated by the nose landing gear will enter the engines or APU [auxiliary power unit]."
