Calif. parks contend with redwood poachers

California's Redwood National and State Parks are being threatened by poachers, who are taking huge chunks from redwood trees under the cover of darkness, officials say. "The distribution goes beyond what we could have imagined," said parks official Candace Tinkler. In response to the poachers, officials have shut down certain parts of the parks at night.
