Rose Byrne attracts women to "Neighbors" opening weekend

Women turned out in droves during Mother's Day weekend for Universal's comedy "Neighbors," driving the opening weekend earnings to an estimated $51 million. The under-25 male audience was expected, but 53% of "Neighbors" moviegoers were women. "[Rose] Byrne's character helped ground the film in reality," Exhibitor Relations senior analyst Jeff Bock said.
