Michigan infrastructure receives grade "D" from ASCE

The Michigan Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers gave the state's infrastructure an overall grade of "D" on its report card. Dams, drinking water, aviation, roads/bridges, energy, navigable waterways, storm water treatment, transit and wastewater collection all need to be shored up. "Reversing the decay of our aging infrastructure is essential to reviving Michigan's economy," said Ron Brenke, executive director of ASCEMI.
