Sanofi gets FDA warning over Taxotere marketing

The FDA ordered Sanofi-Aventis to stop using a reprinted article from the Journal of Clinical Oncology, saying it contains "false and misleading" claims about the benefits of breast cancer drug Taxotere. Sanofi-Aventis halted circulation of the material, although it thinks "the content is appropriate based on current FDA promotion and advertising regulations," a company spokeswoman said.
