SEC filing: Biomet settles lawsuits over bone stimulators

Biomet has agreed to settle the lawsuits filed by 24 of 27 plaintiffs over the Ionic Spine Spacer System and SpF and OsteoGen implants produced by its EBI unit and allegedly implanted by a West Virginia doctor, according to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing. The company denies any wrongdoing in its agreements with the plaintiffs.
