Whole-brain thinking -- the habit of using both sides of your brain to tackle a given problem -- is an important and teachable skill that can help workers boost their creativity and productivity, Ann Herrmann-Nehdi writes. Studies suggest teams trained in whole-brain thinking can be up to 66% more effective than teams with no such training. "What does whole brain thinking have to do with performance? Everything! Ignore it at your peril," Herrmann-Nehdi writes.
