Bill on imaging-test coverage clears Delaware committee

The Delaware House Economic Development, Banking, Insurance and Commerce Committee has cleared a bill that would penalize insurance firms for coverage denial of imaging procedures that are later proven to be medically required. The measure, however, is set to undergo amendments in the coming weeks, including an amendment that clarifies what makes tests medically necessary.
