Consumers opt for merchants with multichannel offerings

U.S. and Canadian consumers are increasingly choosing retailers that offer more options for multichannel shopping, according to a report from NCR Corp. and BuzzBack Market Research. Shoppers increasingly are using online and mobile platforms to comparison shop and bargain hunt, the report says. Additionally, consumers are increasingly drawn to personalized offers delivered in the way they prefer, and a vast majority said they're more likely to choose retailers that are set up to let them interact across all channels.
