After poring over hundreds of TED presentations, Sebastian Wernicke has come up with a statistical metric for predicting whether a given TED speech will go down well -- or simply fall flat. Even better, he's put together what he calls a "tedPAD" -- an app that can automatically generate wonderful or awful speeches according to user specifications.
