Whole Foods posts strong second quarter

Whole Foods Market announced a second-quarter profit of $67.4 million, up from $27.3 million a year ago, and raised its earnings forecast for the year. The company also promoted Walter Robb to co-chief executive with John Mackey and made A.C. Gallo the sole chief operating officer.
