A4A: Airlines want to see results from their NextGen investments

The airline industry is reluctant to invest billions in the Federal Aviation Administration's NextGen program until benefits of doing so are demonstrated. "Tangible, near-term improvements in schedule reliability, customer satisfaction and emissions reductions can be achieved if the FAA delivers on needed policies, procedures and training, which they have been unable to do to date," Airlines for America said in a statement. "[A]irlines would like to see results from the investments they have made to date before looking at additional investment."
