FCC approves Ku-band license for Gogo

The Federal Communications Commission has approved a license that will allow Gogo to operate Ku-band terminals on domestic and international flights with partners SES and Intelsat. Gogo's air-to-ground system is already on Delta's domestic planes and other commercial and business jets; the system is coming on board the carrier's 767 planes along with the rest of its long-haul aircraft. Gogo is still waiting on the FAA to receive a supplemental type certification.
