Firms worry about Bloomberg reporters' terminal access

Bloomberg News has admitted that it gave its reporters access to login information for traders using the company's terminals, prompting privacy concerns from financial firms and regulators. "The biggest worry is that the reporters were able to decipher the analysts' stock strategy," said Scott Talbott, senior vice president for public policy at The Financial Services Roundtable. "There were just concerns about the breadth and depth of the intrusions. . . . From a trader's standpoint, your strategy is everything."
