Senators question plan for pre-clearance in Abu Dhabi

A group of 11 senators is asking the Department of Homeland Security to reevaluate its plan for a customs pre-clearance facility in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. "We question whether the Department (of Homeland Security) has the authorization to enter into such an agreement, and we are concerned by the precedent set by the Department's action," the senators wrote in a letter to DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.
