Bedbugs are an increasing problem in hotels, experts say

Staff members at most hotels say they have experienced complaints about bedbugs, experts say. "Any hotel who says it has never encountered bedbugs is not telling the truth," says Jerry Barnes, general manager of a hotel in St. Charles, Ill. Among the possible reasons for bedbugs' resurgence are a rise in travel and the bugs' greater resistance to pesticides, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
