Verizon, AT&T speak out against reclassifying broadband

CEOs at 28 Internet service providers and trade groups, including Verizon Communications, AT&T and CTIA, are speaking out against the possibility that the Federal Communications Commission will reclassify broadband as a common-carrier service. Such a move "would impose great costs, allowing unprecedented government micromanagement of all aspects of the Internet economy," the group said in a letter to the FCC on Tuesday.
