Study links teacher training, reading achievement

Teachers who underwent high-quality training programs demonstrated more confidence in their ability to teach literacy skills than teachers who lacked solid training, according to a report by the National Commission on Excellence in Elementary Teacher Preparation in Reading Instruction.
