Turner touts "TV in Context"

A new ad-buying system being implemented by Turner Entertainment Networks will pair marketing messages with content in shows and movies, so that ads will relate in some thematic way to the scenes they follow. Linda Yaccarino, EVP-GM of ad sales and marketing for Turner Entertainment, likened the strategy to online ads that are sent to users' computers based on past Web activity.
