Diet might protect against macular degeneration

Diets rich in leafy greens, citrus fruit and fish oil might help prevent age-related macular degeneration, research indicates. Foods with a low glycemic index also were deemed useful in protecting against the leading cause of vision loss among older people in the U.S.
