LyondellBasell taps ConocoPhillips upstream exec for CEO job

Chemical maker LyondellBasell, whose U.S. operations are in Chapter 11, announced it has picked ConocoPhillips' Jim Gallogly to replace outgoing CEO Volker Trautz, pending approval from bankruptcy court officials. Gallogly, who directed ConocoPhillips' exploration and development efforts, is the third executive to leave that post since 2007.
