Siemens venture looking at Nortel's enterprise unit

Nortel Networks' enterprise business has attracted the interest of Siemens Enterprise Communications, whose chief executive officer, James O'Neill, cited the bankrupt equipment maker's dealings with the U.S. government as a major factor. The joint venture between Siemens and U.S. investor Gores Group wants to branch out beyond its European and Asian base to the U.S. market, O'Neill said.
