Treasury to help smaller banks when TARP repayments arrive

With large banks striving to repay funds they received through the Troubled Asset Relief Program, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said those proceeds will be used to aid banks with assets of less than $500 million. The Treasury will reopen the application window to smaller banks and increase the maximum they can borrow.
