AVMA participates in national effort to reduce number of dog bites

AVMA has joined several other interested groups in a national awareness campaign designed to prevent some of the millions of dog bites each year. About half of all U.S. children will be bitten at least once by the time they reach their senior year of high school, a pediatrician says.
