Group appointments, a growing trend in medical practices, offer patients additional face time with physicians and medical staff, allowing them to ask nonsensitive health questions and become their own advocates for their health. "The clearest data is that group medical appointments improve people's knowledge and their ability to understand what they need," said Seth Rubin, a physician with Bryn Mawr Family Practice.
