More Mass. workers sought employer-sponsored insurance after overhaul

The percentage of workers with employer-sponsored health insurance increased in Massachusetts in the five years after it overhauled its health care system, while decreasing in the U.S. as a whole, according to an analysis by PricewaterhouseCoopers. The trend suggests that more U.S. workers will opt for employer-sponsored health insurance after provisions of the Affordable Care Act take effect, even if it means less take-home pay, researchers said.
