Nordstrom sees success with online sales

Nordstrom's online retail sales, including flash-sale site HauteLook, hit $1 billion after 12 years, a feat that took the upscale department store's brick-and-mortar business 84 years to accomplish, Chairman Enrique Hernandez Jr. told shareholders at the retailer's annual meeting Tuesday. Nordstrom reported a total of $11.8 billion in revenue from all operations last year.
