Retailers turn to online perks to boost in-store sales

Retailers including Target, Gap and Rite-Aid are increasingly using new online features to promote in-store shopping. Target's newly-launched Cartwheel lists offers online that can only be redeemed in stores, and next month Gap will launch an online tool that lets customers reserve sizes and colors at namesake and Banana Republic stores.
