Taco Bell tests stuffed waffle taco for breakfast

Taco Bell is testing a waffle taco stuffed with eggs and sausage as an addition to the breakfast menu at three Southern California restaurants. The new item, which comes with a side of maple syrup and sells for 89 cents, joins the morning menu that launched last year at about 800 eateries in 10 states and is on track to eventually debut at all 6,000 U.S. units.
