UN Security Council decries African organized crime, terrorism links

The United Nations Security Council on Monday decried the link between African organized crime and terrorism. A multifaceted approach must be used to counter terrorism, said UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. "This struggle must go forward on many fronts, including by addressing the conditions that are conducive to the spread of terrorism," he said.
