Univision makes El Rey Network part of the family

Univision announced at its upfront presentation that it is partnering with the El Rey Network, which was created by filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and consultancy FactoryMade Ventures. The effort is meant to satisfy minority-television terms of the Comcast purchase of NBCUniversal, but also to attract English-dominant second- and third-generation Latinos. The El Rey Network will start by serializing the 1996 Rodriguez movie "From Dusk Till Dawn."
