Western brands look to invest more in fast-growing India

Consumer spending in India is forecast to rise an average of 8.9% in the next five years, more than twice the projected growth in the UK and nearly double what's expected in the US. The rapid rise in India's spending power is spurring big Western brands -- including Unilever, Nestle and Colgate-Palmolive -- to boost their investments there.
