Westinghouse forges nuclear joint venture with Chinese firm

Westinghouse Electric and China's State Nuclear Power Technology have formed a nuclear technology joint venture. Under the terms, SNTPC will manufacture components and provide services for Westinghouse's AP1000 reactors in China and overseas. "By forming this joint venture, we have a mechanism for delivering our goods and services together to a broader range of customers, delivering mutual business success," said Danny Roderick, Westinghouse's president and CEO.
