6-month data show positive results for Boston Scientific's spine stimulator

Boston Scientific reported positive results from a clinical trial evaluating its Precision Spectra stimulator, designed to help treat chronic low back pain by transmitting mild electrical pulses to targeted nerves in the patient's spinal cord. Six months after receiving the device, study participants had an average pain score of 2.93, down from the baseline score of 7.15 out of 10.
