Amazon expands Coins program to France, Italy and Spain

Amazon has released its virtual payment Coins program in Italy, France and Spain. The countries join the U.S., U.K. and Germany in offering the virtual currency, which allows Amazon customers to purchase Android applications and buy in-app items. Customers receive up to 10% off their purchases, and developers still earn 70% revenue from the sales. Developers with apps in the Amazon Store are already set up to accept Amazon Coins.
