Hearst celebrates quinceanera with special section

Recognizing an untapped market, Hearst Magazines is launching a 16-page removable section on the quinceanera -- the 15th birthday celebration for Hispanic girls -- in the October subscription issues of CosmoGirl and Seventeen and the fall newsstand issue of Teen. Hearst's "Mis Quince" section, which has eight pages of fashion and beauty ads, follows the March debut of independent title Quince Girl, which plans to expand to two issues next year.
