Less is more in electronics design

With statistics showing half of all high-tech gadgets are returned to stores in working order, electronics makers are beginning to understand that unless they build simpler products, consumers will return products they can't figure out how to use. Apple Computer's iPod and Google's home page are cited as examples of high-tech interfaces that are also user-friendly.
