Scientists challenge claim of stem cell enhancer made from algae

One company's claims that its dietary supplement boosts the number of circulating stem cells are being met with skepticism in the medical community. STEMTech HealthSciences says its extract made from blue-green algae is a stem cell enhancer, but several scientists expressed doubt the firm could substantiate its claims for the supplement StemEnhance.
